Who we are

One firm, many partners.

We work in three practice areas: pharmacy partnerships for physician practices and compounding pharmacies, clinical research services for sites and networks, and advisory for the owners and buyers of sites and medical practices.

Northstra Health is contracted with leading compounding pharmacies across the United States. Each engagement is led by a core team and staffed from our specialists, so clients get the depth of a large firm without paying for a bench they do not use.

Principles

How we work.

The standards every engagement is held to.

01

Non-exclusive by design

Recommendations are made on fit across multiple partners, never on which partner is most active.

02

Fit before volume

If a practice, site, or deal is not the right match, we say so before anything is committed.

03

Confidential by default

Operating data, pricing, and deal terms stay between the parties to the engagement.

04

Scoped and accountable

Every engagement has a defined scope, a named lead, and milestones agreed in writing.

Insights

Where we stand.

Points of view from across our three practice areas.

Compounded medication capsules
Pharmacy

The compounding decision most practices get wrong.

Routing is the decision that matters: patient-specific prescriptions belong at a 503A pharmacy, office-use stock at a 503B outsourcing facility. Many practices need both and find out only after onboarding stalls.

Pharmacy

Partner quality is a safety decision.

Outsourcing facilities enter and leave the federal registry more often than most practices realize. We qualify every partner on licensure, inspection history, turnaround, and catalog depth before a practice places its first order.

Clinical research

Enrollment is a community problem before it is a marketing problem.

Very few physicians and nurses ever refer a patient to a trial. Sites that enroll well build referral relationships with the practices their patients already trust.

Clinicians reviewing study documents together
Clinical research

Every idle site has a cost.

A site that never enrolls still has to be activated, monitored, and managed for the life of the study. Feasibility is the cheapest place to find that out.

Advisory

What an enrollment number hides in diligence.

A network's enrollment often rests on a small group of high-performing sites and investigators. Diligence has to find out who is actually producing and whether they stay after close.

Advisory

Independence is now the scarce asset.

Physician-owned practices are now the minority, and there are fewer every year. Owners who stayed independent hold something buyers want, and the time to prepare is before the first call.
